Looking at all of my unused makeup I decided to use a little bit of color today. I like to wear color with a smoky eye because it's the easiest way to wear it.

I'm TINY (5 ft/95 lbs) so I have a hard time finding clothes that fit. I can't shop at Forever 21 because I need an XS/00 .. so I'm always shopping at WetSeal. They had a Christmas sale so I HAD to buy as much as I could.

Yay! Done with school -- for now at least.

Because I had no reading or studying to worry about .. I had some free time. Did a little online window shopping and became inspired by one of Makeup Forever's pictures on the Sephora website:

I just wanted to try something different so I did my version of the 'all-black eye' from the picture.

I'm just taking a break from studying and I just wanted to show my FOTD from Friday. I actually wore eyeshadow to school, but I picked the wrong day to start because it started pouring when I was walking to class ha. I haven't worn eyeshadow in months, so when I got into my little "process" it was just AWKWARD lol.

So it was inspired by one of Makeupbyrenren's recent posts .. she was wearing a look with matte eyeshadows (my favorite too!) so I wanted to try it. I was trying to go for a more "natural" look but I always end up rubbing that black eyeshadow into my crease.. I just can't help it! =)

I just wanted to take a quick break from studying. My brain is FRIIEEEDDD! I can't believe my school started finals in the same week of our last class meetings. So today I have my Statistics final. Friday = Psychology. Monday = Sociology. Tuesday = Nutrition. GREAT.

I felt like sharing my computer wallpaper because I think it's so cuuteee! haha.

I just wanted to say a quick hello to everyone who still reads my blog. Wow, I totally abandoned this thing because I really haven't posted anything for a year HA. I am just trying to get my life together **SIGH**. I kept taking breaks (long ones) from school and for what?! .. For a crappy minimum wage job that's taking me nowhere. So now I am going to school full-time + working part-time and I am so TIRED. I'm flat broke.. and I am hating it haha I've never been in this situation before because I have been working since I was frickin 15.. and whatever money I do get goes to gas and food. And if I happen to get extra money, I'd rather spend it on clothes than on makeup that I won't use. I have makeup that's been sitting around for months! I guess I don't feel like having eyeshadow all over my eyes when I am at school.. I mean, I think that my eyeliner is scary enough =]. But I am SOO SOO happy that this semester is almost over and hopefully I'll get to post more during the break that's coming up.

Of course I gotta include a picture. Here's my everyday look.. the same thing every single day .. so boring that it's annoying!

So I haven't been posting because I just didn't feel like showing off my ugly eyebrows =(. See, I guess I got a little carried away with my tweezers and I couldn't fix it. So I grew them out .. bushy as they can get! .. went to BrauHaus in Pasadena to get my eyebrows shaped for the first time ever. I guess she did an okay job .. maybe not worth the pricey $30!! She got them at the same height but they were still not even. So now, after getting them done by a professional, I just need to accept the fact that my eyebrows will never be EVEN and NORMAL! These are my eyebrows through high school:

They just got thinner and thinner every year lol. After the last picture they got even THINNER.. if you can believe that. All I can say is ..LESSON LEARNED.

So I cut off all of my hair. It was reaching my waist and I just couldn't deal with it anymore. I don't have that nice, straight, flat, shiny Asian hair. My hair is thick, wavy and nappy lol. My aunt wanted to cut it shorter .. like Victoria Beckham.. but I couldn't do it. So she layered the crap out of it and I love it! I may look younger than I already do .. but I don't care!

So before Sephora started promoting their Friends&Family sale I got an email from them giving me $20 to spend! I was so excited because $20 really helps you out when you're trying to buy high-end makeup. I never got an email from Sephora about their Friends&Family sale.. which made me a little mad. But they don't know about all the great beauty bloggers out there who shared .. so HA HA HA to you Sephora! Thanks for the $20, but screw you lol. I wish they let you test out a game before you actually buy it. Target locks up their games so I can't even look at the back of the game. But I saw the commercial with Liv Tyler and her sister (I think it's her sister because when she starts laughing her mouth looks huge like their dad's mouth lol) playing against each other and I knew that I would love this game! I love my Nintendo DS lite but sometimes the games are BLAH. But this game, Mystery Case Files MillionHeir, is from Big Fish Games. All of my computer games are from them so I knew I would like this game.

So that's my teeny tiny haul. I wish I had more to show but I'm broke.. broke like a joke.. a mean joke =( .. Ok time to get ready for work.

The new metallic shadow duos from HIP are VERY metallicy/ frosty! Just look at it bling! lol. But hey, I like it. I wore this today for work and when I got home I noticed that the silver in my very inner lid just disappeared! It wasn't even creasing.. the eyeshadow was just gone. So I think next time I'm going to try applying it wet. I want to try the other colors so tomorrow I'm going to have to stop by CVS because they're having a sale. Time for sleep =).

Jesmakeup wanted to know my nationality .. and she was right! I am FULL Filipino. Both of my parents are Filipino. I know I don't look like it. I've had people asking me if I was Persian, Peruvian, Vietnamese, Chinese.. I feel bad when people start talking to me in Spanish because it sounds important but I can't help them haha. My mom shipped my brother &; I to the Philippines when I was 5.. spent a year there.. then came back to California. I can understand Tagalog but I can't speak/ read it - reading it is so hard! But yeah.. just in case anybody was wondering.. =)

I didn't realize that starting a blog would take this long!! It has definitely been testing my patience lol. I've had to stop myself from picking up my laptop and just slamming it into my wood floors =) ( I KNOW.. temper temper temper ). I started this blog mainly to record what I use in my looks because sometimes when I want to recreate a look I forget what colors I used! Uhh! Don't you just hate that?? And then I try to guess what color I used but I end up picking the wrong color and turning my eye into a fugly mess. I'm sick of that happening so I am hoping this blog will be my lifesaver. Another reason I started this blog is because it just looks fun! I check my Google Reader everyday and I guess I finally decided to jump onto the lovely bandwagon =). I have learned a lot from everyone and I just hope that I can help others in the same way.

So because I am a newbie I just wanted to share some of my past looks:
